Meet Our Trainer - Liz Burns  

Currie Dog Training was founded in 2001 in response to the need for Dog Training in the Currie area.

The head trainer and founder is Liz Burns (formally Liz Graham) who has been involved in working with dogs since her schools days.  Liz has attended many seminars dealing with dog behaviour and dog training. Being a current competitor and attending competing clubs for training and competitions, enables her to be involved in new training methods and ideas. The majority of people attending classes have found out about the classes by personal recommendation of friends or by vets.

 

Her involvement in competition with dogs includes:

Qualifying  to Test C in obedience.

Qualifying her Golden Retriever to WD in working dog stakes.

Qualifying her GSD to Sch 111 and is currently working towards

IPO 11 with her current GSD.

Her involvement in the show ring includes:

Showing various breed of dogs since 1977

Showing various breed of Dogs at Crufts
